Research and Planning: Location Plan

I have considered a few different locations in which to take my pictures and at the moment I am thinking in a park and also in a busy area such as a town, where there will be a lot of people to give the picture a more realistic view.

For my pictures I have decided to take a few test shots with different people too.
I have taken some pictures:
- In College
- In Manor Park, Glossop
- In Manchester
- At my home.

Research and Planning: Examples Of Music Magazines

Here are some examples of music magazines. Some of them are R&B magazines but some others are of different genres so that I can compare them to the R&B magazines. I have been comparing the colours used, the pictures and artists used, what type of shots have been used, the stories and other features used, the masthead names and styles, the titles of the main stories, what colour themes are used throughout, the costumes used, the make-up used and the positioning of the artists and how they are posing.

Research And Planning: Plan For The Week

My plan for the week is to add my own blogs to my blogger as additional research for my music magazine.
I will look at different models that have been on current magazines. I will also look at different font types for the masthead of my magazine.

Research And Planning: Test Shots

Here are my test shot pictures for my media coursework. I have chosen different people to each take part and be a model. I have also gone to different locations with each model and taken a number of pictures for me to look at and compare to see which photos I like the best and which I think would be more suitable for my R&B music magazine. I have also carefully selected outfits for each model to wear as well as the locations. Each of these pictures will be taken into consideration for my front cover, contents page and double page spread of my magazine. Not all of these pictures will be chosen and not all of these models may be chosen either but I have many to compare now.
